Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an organ-protecting agent useful for the storage of organs and the suppression or prevention of rejection reaction after the transplantation or organ, by using specific prostacyclins as active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent contains, as active component, the prostacyclins of formula [R is H, 1-10C alkyl or 1 equivalent of cation; R is H or methyl; R is 3-10C alkyl, 3-10C alkenyl, 3-10C alkynyl or (substituted) 3-10C cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenoxy or 1-6C alkyl; n is 0 or 1] and/or its enantiomer, e.g. (17S)-17,20-dimethyl-9(0)-methano-DELTA6(9alpha)-prostaglandin I1. The compound is useful also for the remedy or prevention of various diseases of organs by is strong cell-protecting action and organ-protecting action.
