FREELY TAKING-IN AND-OUT SHOE MAT FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To prevent soiling or the like of the interior of a car by installing a mat base supported elastically by means of spiral spring through a guard cover or the like to the inside of the automobile door and making it possible to readily and surely wipe the shoes by passenger riding in the automobile. CONSTITUTION:A spiral spring 1 is fixed at the upper end to the top of the internal surface of a slide cylinder 2 and connected at the lower end to a holding body 3. The lower face of the holding body 3 is penetrated by a supporting shaft 5, which is connected at the lower end to a mat base, not shown in the figure. On the other hand, the holding body 3 is connected at both sides of a pair of elastic upstroke arms 7-1 and 7-2, and at both sides of the slide cylinder 2 a pair of down stroke arms 7-3 and 7-4, are linked. The elastic arms are connected by a pair of stretch bands respectively. The whole device thus constituted is attached to a lower section of the inside of the automobile door. Thus, dirt on shoe is wiped off on the mat in getting on the car.
