By advancing the screw 4 again, the front end of the sleeve 1 is filled with well-kneaded resin material G1. In the material G1 long glass fibers are broken by the screw 4 and become short fibers. Then, with the retreat of an injection plunger 3, the resin material G in the hopper 17 is metered by a press piston 18 and put in the rear end of the sleeve 1, while the material G is still long-fibered. As the material G1 forms a skin P1 of the formed product, and the long-fibered material G forms a core layer P2, the formed product with fine surface and sufficient strength is obtained.
