RESIN INJECTION AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a formed product of high quality containing long-fibered filler by conducting the injection of two-layered resin material of which one is well kneaded and filled in the front end of the injection-plunger-inserted sleeve and the other is less kneaded and filled in the rear end. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a sleeve 1 is made vacuous by a vacuum pump 13. The resin material G in a hopper 17 is kneaded, metered and extruded to the front end of an auxiliary sleeve 2 with the rotation and retreat of a screw 4. By advancing the screw 4 again, the front end of the sleeve 1 is filled with well-kneaded resin material G1. In the material G1 long glass fibers are broken by the screw 4 and become short fibers. Then, with the retreat of an injection plunger 3, the resin material G in the hopper 17 is metered by a press piston 18 and put in the rear end of the sleeve 1, while the material G is still long-fibered. As the material G1 forms a skin P1 of the formed product, and the long-fibered material G forms a core layer P2, the formed product with fine surface and sufficient strength is obtained.
