WINDSHIELD WIPER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the changing and selecting operations of a wiping range by setting up a selector lever for engaging a joint ball with a joint pin or a joint case selectively, at the joint case side. CONSTITUTION:The slide 16 installed in the head of a joint ball 12 is made to come free of slide motion by the guidance of a projection 12b, and it is made so as to describe a locus A when it is engaged with a joint pin 13 and describe a locus B when engaged with a joint case 15, respectively. A selector lever 18 for selecting this slider 16 is slidably supported on the joint case 15, whereby an engaging part 21a of a selector member 21 is made so as to be subjected to selecting operation as being engaged with a lever piece 18b. Consequently, there is unnecessary to do the selecting operation with a driver or the like, and that it is made selectable with a remote control device at the car room inside, thus selecting operability is improved.
