ACOUSTIC REPRODUCING MACHINE FOR RECORD DISK HAVING PLURAL SOUND RECORDING GROOVES

PURPOSE:To simplify a dividing mechanism by restoring a selecting beam to an original position by the elastic force of its spring when an engaging element coincides with a dividing part so that the stylus pressure is applied to a pickup. CONSTITUTION:The dividing part 19 is constituted of notching a part of a flange F formed continuously around the rotational periphery edge of a record disk unit 5, the engaging element to push up the selecting beam 20 against the spring 27, to be elastically deformed and engaged with the flange F so as to climb up it at the rotating position of a stylus pressure releasing wheel 17 and to be allowed to pass the notch of the dividing part 19 in the axial direction at the time of coinciding with the notch of the dividing part 19 is formed on the selecting beam 20, and when the engaging element 20 coincides with the dividing part 19, the selecting beam 20 is restored to the original position by the elastic force of the spring 27 to apply stylus pressure to the pickup 13. Consequently, a prescribed sound recording groove can be rapidly and surely selected and reproduced and the structure of an acoustic reproducing machine can be simplified.
