FUNCTIONAL TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To prevent wrong outgoing caused by a wrong operation, by detecting the area designating operation of an automatic dial memory in accordance with a specific operation and transferring the redialing number stored in a re-dial memory to the designated area of the automatic dial memory based on the detected output. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means which detects the area designating operation of an automatic dial memory 18 following a specific operation and a control means which transfers the dial number stored in a dial memory 17 to the designated area of the automatic dial memory 18 based on the output of the detecting means, are provided. Then the dialing destinations which are necessarily updated and stored when ordinary manual dialing is made are transferred to and stored in the automatic dial memory 18 through specific operations of the user. Therefore, not only re-dialing operations can be made easily, but also registering operations of automatic dials, such as abbreviated dials, one-touch dials as auto-dials, etc., can be made easily.
