PROGRAM RESTARTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To omit a file access process needed for loading of a program and to shorten the access time by having a jump to the head of the program loaded once in a re-execution state and then restarting the program. CONSTITUTION:A program is loaded into a user memory area from an external memory such as an FDD, an HDD, and the leading address and the check sum of the loaded program are stored. When the process is through after the program is carried out, the presence or absence is decided for the instruction of re-execution given from a function key, etc. When the instruction for re- execution is confirmed, the check sum is calculated to check no change of the initial state of the executed program. This calculated check sum is compared with the stored one. Then a jump is carried out to the leading address to the stored program only when the coincidence is obtained between both check sums. Thus the re-execution is performed. In such a way, a useless file access is omitted and the access time is shortened.
