CEILING INSTALLATION TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To facilitate demounting and remounting operations when the maintenance work for the titled equipment is carried out, by a method wherein a main body cover to which a main body frame provided with the equipment is detachably mounted is securely suspended from a ceiling part. CONSTITUTION:A main body frame 21 and a main body cover 22 are provided with connecting flanges 26 and 27 respectively, and both these connecting flanges 26, 27 are abutted against each other and coupled together with bolts 28 and nuts 29. Further, the above-mentioned main body cover 22 is securely suspended by a plurality of mounting bolts 32 hanging from a ceiling part 31 of a house or the like. When the maintenance of an air conditioner 20 is performed, a decoration grille 41 is removed, and thereafter the bolts 28 and the nuts 29 coupling the respective connecting flanges 26, 27 of the main body frame 21 and the main body cover 22 are losened. Then, the main body frame 21 is lowered, whereby the main body frame 21 is made into a state of being suspended by the connecting flanges 26 of the main body cover 22 with aid of each of guide support rods 39. Under this condition, the maintenance work is carried out.
