Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To acquire uniformly video information and to improve easily the picture quality of a reproducing image by using a rotary head, dividing and recording a video signal equivalent to one field into plural inclination tracks on a tape and oscillating and displacing the rotary head in the direction almost orthogonal to the inclination track at the time of the variable speed reproduction. CONSTITUTION:The video signal equivalent to one field is divided and recorded into four inclination tracks on a tape TP. By a sine wave generating device 3 and a bimorph BM, rotary heads Ha and Hb are oscillated and displaced in the direction almost orthogonal to an inclination track. At the time of a shuttle reproduction, a change-over switch 4 is changed over to the sine wave generating device 3 side, for example, when a tape travelling speed is four times as much as that at the time of recording, the rotary heads Ha and Hb are oscillated and displaced by the bimorph BM in the direction almost orthogonal to the inclination track with the the amplitude as two track pitches (four track pitches by a peak-peak value), for example, by the frequency of 720 Hz. In this case, a pair of rotary heads Ha and Hb meander and scan 8 inclination tracks for one rotation of a rotary drum RD and the acquisition ratio of the video reproduced from the inclination track comes to be higher. |
