PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture with high vertical resolution, by operation processing three kinds of photoelectric conversion element outputs different from interferred spectrum bands. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an image pickup element 1 having a color filter is branched; one is directly input to sample hold circuits 3, 4 and the other is input to sample hold a circuits 5, 6 via a delay line 2. A G signal only is picked up at the sample hold circuits 3, 6 and a correction signal 7 is obtained from a subtractor. On the other hand, R signal and B signal only are picked up at the sample hold circuits 4, 5, and both signals are alternate at each 1H. A correction signal 7 is summed with an output signal from the sample hold circuit 4 and a pseudo signal is erased. This summing signal and an output signal from the sample hold circuit 5 are shared at a switch circuit 8 alternant each 1H, and R and B signal outputs 9, 10 are obtained respectively. A G signal output 11 is obtained from the sample hold circuit 6.
