BACK DOOR OPENING FINISHER INSTALLATION STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To obtain the integrally continuous appearance of a back door part and improve the quality of appearance of an automobile body by fixing the lower side part of a back door opening finisher to a rear panel via a bracket while placing said finisher on the top face of a rear panel finisher. CONSTITUTION:A band like back door opening finisher 8 is installed on the outer peripheral side part of the peripheral edge flange 2 of the back door opening part 1 of the so-called hatch-back type automobile. The lower side part 8c of the back door opening finisher 8 is fixed to a rear panel 5 via a bracket 9 provided on its bottom part by means of a clip 13. Further, the lower side part 8c is placed on the top face of a rear panel finisher 7 which is aligned with the outer faces of rear combination lamps 6 and which covers the rear panel 5. Thereby, the parting gap between the rear panel 5 and the rear panel finisher 7 can be covered, obtaining an integrally continuous appearance of a back door opening part to improve the quality of appearance of an automobile body.
