Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain properly toasted laver, by non-destructively detecting the amount of photosynthetic dyestuff in laver after toasting and regulating heating and transporting conditions in such a way that the reduction ratio of the photosynthetic dyestuff is in a given range. CONSTITUTION:The amount of photosynthetic dyestuff in laver before toasting is measured by a detector 1, the laver is sent to a toasting oven by a conveyor 5 and the amount of the photosynthetic dyestuff is remeasured by a detector 2. A control device calculates reduction ratio in a photosynthetic dyestuff value from difference between both the measured values and heating condition of the toasting oven and transporting condition of the conveyor 5 are controlled in such a way that the reduction ratio is in a specific range. The laver is automatically regulated in a proper degree of toasting.
