REMOVING METHOD FOR INCLUSION IN HOT DIP GALVANIZING BATH

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of plated products due to inclusions, by locating the position of the lower part of a partition frame equipped with a filter in a galvanizing bath, by agitating the bath inside this partition frame, and by allowing inclusions to rise so as to surely reduce the inclusions. CONSTITUTION:At the time of introducing a band steel 4 to be galvanized into the galvanizing bath 2 in a hot dip galvanizing tank 1 via a sink roll 3 and carrying out galvanizing, a cylindrical partition frame 5 made of ceramic is disposed in the bath 2. Further, a ceramic filter 6 of 0.8-1.2mm porosity is provided to this frame 5. Then, an impeller 7 located at the prescribed depth in the bath 2 inside the frame 5 is rotated, by which the bath 2 inside the frame 5 is agitated so as to coagulate the inclusions in the bath 2 and allow them to rise and then the purified bath 2 is returned via the filter 6 into the bath outside the frame 5. Simultaneously, the bath 2 containing inclusions is taken in from the lower end of the frame 5 into the frame 5, so that inclusions in the bath 2 can be continuously removed.
