FOLD-HABIT REMEDIAL DEVICE FOR PAPER SHEET

PURPOSE:To remedy the folding and bending of a paper piece so as not to be restored, by installing plural pieces of a heating roller having a heating element and also plural pieces of a presser roller as opposed to this heating roller in a fold-habit remedial device for paper sheets such as bills and so on. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of a heating roller 25 and plural pieces of a presser roller 35 being opposed and pressed to these heating rollers are all attached to a fold-habit remedial device 15 free of rotation to the side plate of a body. The heating roller 25 has a heating element 25a on the surface, while each heating element 25a is interconnected with one another by the electrode 20 installed in a shaft 26. Current-energization to these heating elements 25a is carried out by an external power source via a brush 24 to contact with the electrode 20. The presser roller 35 is formed with silicone rubber or the like and pressed to the heating roller 25 by a spring 18. When a bill B having a fold-habit C is carried in a roller pair, carry-in sensor 21 detects the bill B, and the bill B remedied of its fold habit by these paired rollers is discharged, a discharge sensor 22 detects the bill B as well.
