Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled coating material, by blending an alkyl silicate as a film-forming component with a specific organotitanate compound and organic resin, curable at ordinary temperature, having improved preservation stability, adhesive property as well as heat resistance of films and soluble in organic solvents. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) a 1-8C alkyl silicate (low condensate), (B) a 1-8C alkyl titanate (chelate compound) and (C) an organic resin of epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyester resin, acrylic resin, melamine resin, urea resin, alkyd resin and/or silicone resin. The content of the components (A) and (B) is 50-90% weight ratio of the compound expressed by the formula expressed in terms of metal, contained in the components (A) and (B) and converted into an oxide and the total amount of the components (A) and (B) is 30-90wt% based on the solids in the whole film-forming components including the component (C).
