Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain the title catalyst component excellent in storage stability, heat stability and grinding resistance, by allowing a specified reaction product to support a titanium halide, etc. CONSTITUTION:A solution is obtained by mixing, with heating, a solid product A obtained from a trivalent metal halide, a bivalent metal (hydr)oxide or carbonate, a complex salt containing these compounds or a hydrate of a bivalent metal compound with a titanic ester and an alcohol in an inert hydrocarbon solvent. A solid product C is obtained by prepolymerizing a solid product B obtained from the above obtained solution and a silicon halide of formula I or II (wherein X is Cl or Br, R are each a 1-20C alkyl, aryl or a 3-20C cycloalkyl and l and p are each 1-4) and a 2C or higher alpha-olefin in the presence of an organoaluminum compound. This product is reacted with a titanium halide of formula III (wherein R is a 1-10C alkyl, aryl or a 3-20C cycloalkyl and q is l) and/or a vanadyl halide or a vanadium halide of formula IV or V (wherein R are each R , s is 1-3 and t is l) and an aromatic polycarboxylic ester is added to the reaction mixture in a stage where necessary. |
