Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the machinability of the rotary shaft of a highly rigid rotary compressor, by jointing a crank section and a sub-shaft formed integrally through forging to a spindle having a lubricant path along the axis of shaft formed through drawing of steel pipe material. CONSTITUTION:In order to form a lubricant path 5 along the axis of shaft, a steel pipe material 3a is inserted into a dies 6 having smaller diameter than the outer diameter thereof and applied with drawing. A crank section 2 and a sub-shaft 4 are formed integrally through cold forging of same or different material with that of the spindle 3. The spindle 3, the crank section 2 and the sub-shaft 4 are formed on a rotary shaft 1 through frictional pressure contact, supersonic welding or laser welding. With such method, the rigidity and machinability of the rotary shaft 1 can be improved.
