CONTROLLER FOR ELECTRIC ROLLING STOCK

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and improve efficiency, by connecting the series circuit of a diode and a resistor to an anode reactor in parallel with each other, and by connecting a condenser to a space between a connecting point between the diode and the resistor, and the negative side of a power source. CONSTITUTION:When a chopper 6 is in an ON-state, then current flows with a circuit shown by a sign A, and electric energy is stored at an anode reactor 3. When the chopper 6 is turned OFF, then the electric energy stored at the anode reactor 3 is discharged via a diode 4 and a resistor 5 as shown by a sign B, and is discharged via the diode 4, a condenser 8, and a filter condenser 2 as shown by a sign C. The electric energy stored once at the condenser 8 is shifted to the filter condenser 2 through the route D of the resistor 5 and the filter condenser 2.
