FASTENING DEVICE FOR OPTICAL INSERT DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS

PURPOSE:To install and remove an insert easily by fastening an upper insert and a lower insert by means of an O-ring and a tension bolt in place of brazing. CONSTITUTION:An O-ring 4 is inserted into a lower insert 2, and an upper insert 1 and the lower insert 2 are nested together and the upper insert 1 and the lower insert 2 are fastened by a tension bolt 5. During manufacture, in the case when some foreign matters (dust, scale and rust) are adhered to a temperature regulating channel 3, or when the temperature regulating channel 3 should be processed additionally in order to improve the temperature regulating effect, said removal or processing can be carried out by removing the tension bolt 5 and separating the upper insert 1 and the lower insert 2. Provided the outer diameters of both ends of a lens are equivalent or close to equivalent, a new lens shape 8 is processed on an upper insert 7 to easily deal with new products, leaving the lower insert 2 as it is.
