The center 7 retrieves the corresponding picture information based on the retrieving instruction information and sends the retrieved picture information to the equipment 1 via the line 6. The equipment 1 displays the received picture information at a picture display part 2 and at the same time retrieves the picture information given from a picture information storing part 4 based no the retrieving instruction data included in the picture information to superpose the retrieved picture information for display at the part 2.
