PICTURE DISPLAY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To superpose the picture information in a picture information center onto the picture information stored in a terminal equipment and to display them, by adding the retrieving instruction data to the picture information stored in the information center. CONSTITUTION:The retrieving instruction information supplied from a retrieving instruction information input part 3 of a terminal equipment 1 is sent to a picture information center 7 via a terminal communication processing part 5 and a transmission line 6. The center 7 retrieves the corresponding picture information based on the retrieving instruction information and sends the retrieved picture information to the equipment 1 via the line 6. The equipment 1 displays the received picture information at a picture display part 2 and at the same time retrieves the picture information given from a picture information storing part 4 based no the retrieving instruction data included in the picture information to superpose the retrieved picture information for display at the part 2.
