Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To record a highly precise color image at a high speed by attaching a microcapsule which develops different colors by responding to light beams of specific wavelengths to a carrying means, and projecting a toner image being on a photosensitive plate, onto its carrying means. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive plate 14 is scanned by a laser light 24 which is modulated by an image signal, and subsequently, brought to a toner development 19, and a toner image is formed with regard to each of three colors. Thereafter, the photosensitive plate 14 is moved to a projecting position. Subsequently, the toner image of each color of the photosensitive plate 14 is projected onto a dielectric belt 1 by a projection lens 13, etc. To its dielectric belt 1, a microcapsule 3a of a different color, which responds to a light beam of a specific wavelength is allowed to adhere by a capsule supplying device 3. Next, a latent image is formed by projecting the toner image of each color to the microcapsule 3a on the dielectric belt 1, and sent to a developing device 7. By this device, a color image is formed by developing a receiver sheet 4 to which a developer is applied. Accordingly, since the toner image is projected to a carrying means to which the microcapsule is allowed to adhere, the color image can be obtained in a short time.
