IMAGE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To form a delicate color print by pressurizing a capsule sheet between a pressure roll and transfer roll to form a latent image on the transfer roll and developing the latent image on the transfer roll onto recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A hard polyester is used for the material of the capsule sheet and capsules 1a into which a color forming precursor and photosensitive material are sealed are coated thereon. The sheet 1 is exposed 3 to write picture information to the capsules 1a. The photosensitive material of the capsules 1a is cured according to the exposure of this time. The sheet 1 is then fed between and pressurized by the pressure roll 5a and the transfer roll 5b to destruct the capsules 1a. A difference is generated in the amt. of the color forming precursor flowing out of the capsules 1a according to the curing of the photosensitive material and the latent image is formed on the transfer roll 5b. The latent image is transferred onto the recording sheet 6 coated with a color forming agent and is subjected to the color development between the transfer roll 5b and a developing roll 5c. Since the microcapsule are easily destructed by the pressure roll and the transfer roll, the size of the rolls is reduced.
