Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the rotational frequency of a fuel pump from going higher than necessity, by outputting a duty control signal to a transistor so as to cause a terminal voltage of the fuel pump to become the target driving voltage. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 9 detects an actual terminal voltage Vp'(Va-Vb) of a fuel pump 6 on the basis of a digital signal to be inputted, while it calculates a target driving voltage Vp of the fuel pump 6 from a neces sary supply of fuel, comparing the target driving voltage Vp with the terminal voltage Vp' of the fuel pump 6, and it outputs a duty control signal to a transis tor 7 via an output drive circuit 10 so as to cause the terminal voltage Vp' to become the target driving voltage Vp. Calculation of the target driving volt age Vp of the fuel pump 6 from the required quantity of fuel is determined after calculating the value between engine speed and driving pulse width of a fuel injection valve.
