CONTROLLER FOR TAKE-UP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To always apply specified elongation with the set value of a speed difference setting device, by interlocking the temperature rise value of a heated roll with a running speed to change the value. CONSTITUTION:When varying-speed start command 19 is applied to a speed reference generation circuit 18 after the set value of a running speed setting device 13 is changed, then the set value of the running speed setting device 13 is read in the speed reference generation circuit 18, and an arithmetic is performed on a speed reference value. The output of the speed reference value is generated as the speed reference of a heated roll 2. The speed reference value is applied by speed setting devices 17, 15, with a specified speed difference as the running speed of a backturn roll 1 and a taka-up roll 3. Then, by the speed reference generator 18, an arithmetic is performed on the speed reference with the function of the thermal time constant of a heated roll 5 or the polygonal line approximation.
