Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To attain a precision higher than the quantization level by averaging a taken-out blanking signal and using information of lower bits of the average value to subject upper bits to proper operation and incorporating information of lower bits in the direction of the time base. CONSTITUTION:Only the signal in a blanking period is taken out by a gate circuit 5 and is sent to a summing circuit 6, and the circuit 6 gives a delay time difference to input data and takes out the total sum. Lower two bits of the 10-bit output of this circuit 6 are sent to an encoder 9, and upper eight bits are branched into two, and one is sent as an 8-bit signal A to a data selector 8 as it is, and '1' is added to the other by an adder 7 and the output is sent as an 8-bit signal B to the data selector 8. The output from the data selector 8 is switched in accordance with data of lower two bits to incorporate information of lower two bits in the direction of the time axis, thereby outputting data including information of lower two bits.
