Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a low noise printing head, by providing a magnetic circuit to a lever holding member and arranging a ferrite vibration damping material between said magnetic circuit and a base frame. CONSTITUTION:When voltage is applied to a piezoelectric element 1b at the time of printing, the piezoelectric element 1b abruptly replaces and a lever 2b displaces only at the central part thereof at first. When the lever 2b further generates displacement to be displaced in a predetermined quantity necessary for printing, the strain energy accumulated in the lever part becomes larger than the attraction force of a lever holding member 1d and the lever 2b is released from the lever holding member 1d at the tip to rotate around the acting point of the laminated type piezoelectric element 1b and the printing wire 5 contacting with the tip of the lever 2b is driven by predetermined quantity to freely fly and returns. The rebounding of the lever generated when the lever returns to collide with the piezoelectric element is attenuated by the attraction force of the lever holding member 1d. Since a ferrite vibration damping material 1h is arranged in order to prevent the transmission of the lever holding member 1d due to the collision of the lever to a base frame, noise due to the vibration caused by collision is reduced.
