Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent a polymer from retaining and from sticking itself to the periphery of agitating elements in a lump state, by attaching a rod-shaped scraping bar having a spherical section to the tip of supporting plate at a high- viscosity solution part of a polymer in the rectangular direction and equipping the agitating elements with guide rods. CONSTITUTION:Two revolution shafts 2a and 2b are set in parallel in a main body 1 of a horizontally laid cylindrial reactor, plural ring-shaped supporting plates 4 are attached to the shafts at a right angle to the shafts corresponding to each revolution shaft, scratching bars 6 are fixed to the tip of each ring- shaped supporting plate 4 at a ring angle to the supporting plates to form plural agitating elements. The agitating elements attached to the two revolution shaft 2a and 2b are arranged in such a way that the elements have a phase of 90 deg. when sighted in the shaft direction, the two revolution shafts are supported so that the tip of one agitating element approaches the other revolution shaft and passes and further guide rods 7 through which the scraping bars 6 pass are set in the central parts of the ring-shaped supporting plates 4. EFFECT:The whole stirring can be carried out even if a polymer progresses to high viscosity and a uniform polymer is obtained.
