CULTIVATION OF CELL AND TOOL THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To cultivate an animal cell efficiently and economically, by sealing a material to be cultivated and nutrients in a semipermeable membrane container, making nutrients and a gas exist outside the semipermeable membrane and cultivating the material to be cultivated in a state wherein the cell is in contact with the semipermeable membrane container in the culture of the animal cell. CONSTITUTION:In cultivating an animal cell, a material to be cultivated and nutrients are sealed in a semipermeable membrane container, nutrients and a gas are present outside the membrane and the material to be cultivated in the semipermeable membrane container is cultivated in a state wherein the material is in contact with the semipermeable membrane container. The cell culture by the above-mentioned method, for example, is carried out by, using the following tools. Namely, the semipermeable membrane container 3 to have the material to be cultivated is set in a container 1, parts to have a culture solution and a gas is formed outside of the semipermeable membrane container 3 and the part 5 and the semipermeable membrane container 3 are equipped with communicating openings 2 and 4 to take in and out the materials stored in the part and in the container.
