IDIOM REGISTRATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To save a labor for applying a control code again at the time of reusing a registered idiom by providing a means for identifying whether it is the control code to be outputted or not to an idiom memory means. CONSTITUTION:A character code corresponding to respective characters inputted from a character input device 1 is sequentially fed to a text memory device 3 and the train of the code of the character corresponding to the character constituting a document to be formed on the device 3 is stored. Then, when an idiom registration character string is designated, the designated idiom is displayed 7. The control code of the designated idioms is identified, at the time of the control code to be registered, the idioms are directly fed to a means 4, and at the time of the control code not to be registered, the control code is removed from the idioms and outputted to the means 4.
