INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make the titled device small in size, and to improve its operability by providing a reading part for reading a data item from an external storage medium in which the data item is recorded, and a screen operating panel which is provided with a touch screen, and on which the data item which is read by the reading part is displayed. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with an external recording medium 7 in which an item of a data to be inputted is recorded, a reading means 8 for reading the data item which is recorded in the external recording medium 7, and a touch screen 10, and also, provided with a screen operating panel 9 on which the data item which is read by the reading means 8 is displayed. In such a state, the data item is read by the reading means 8 from the external recording medium 7 and displayed on the screen operating panel 9. Subsequently, the data item is selected and indicated by the touch screen 10. In such a way, an input operation of the data item which is used repeatedly can be simplified remarkably, and an input mistake can be prevented.
