Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To easily and stably detect a position by providing plural detecting electrodes which are placed adjacently in accordance with a coordinate position to be detected, on a plastic film substrate, and covering the surface of the detecting electrode with high polymer dielectrics different in dielectric constant. CONSTITUTION:On a film substrate 1, a conductive film to which an indium tin oxide (ITO) is vapor-deposited by 200-300Angstrom is formed by etching a pair of two detecting electrodes 2 of a comb type. To a part (a) of the surface of this detecting electrode 2, an acryl compound resin of 0.1mm-0.3mm is applied, a silica compound resin is applied to a part (b) in the same way, and also, a urethane compound resin is applied to a part (c) and a part (d), respectively. In such a way, when high polymer dielectrics different in dielectric constant are applied at every input key on the film substrate 1, the variation of a capacitance at the time of inputting a finger differs at every input key. In such a way, as soon as an input is sensed, an input position is known immediately, and a position input can be executed without requiring complicated timing processing.
