COPYING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent an electrifier from being contaminated so as to eliminate bad influences to copies, by forming an air flow which flows in one direction in the electrifier of a copying device and, at the same time, providing a dust preventing means on the upstream side of the air flow. CONSTITUTION:The air heated in a fixed section E flows to the space S above a photosensitive drum D and tends to stay there, but flows toward an exhaust port 2 and is discharged from the port 2 since the exhaust port 2 is provided. As a result, a constant air flow is formed from the fixing section E to the exhaust port 2. Since an electrifier C is provided at the midpoint of the air flow, an air flow flowing in one direction is formed to the electrifier C. The air before entering into an electric dust collector 3 contains toner, paper dust, silicone vapor, and other dust floating in the air, but, when the air is passed through the dust collector 3, the toner, paper dust, etc., are removed from the air and the air becomes clean. The air further cleaned by a filter 4 after passing through the dust collector 3 is passed through the electrifier C and discharged from the exhaust port 2 after passing through the space S.
