Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To stabilize the generation of a Karman vortex by providing an upstream columnar body whose section is nearly in an isosceles triangle shape and a downstream columnar body whose section is nearly in an isosceles trapezoid shape, and setting the angle of the isosceles sides of the downstream columnar body to about 60 deg.. CONSTITUTION:The section of the downstream body 21 is nearly in the isosceles triangle shape and the section of the downstream columnar body 22 is nearly in the isosceles trapezoid shape. The columnar bodies 21 and 22 are so arranged that the base parts 21A and 22A which have nearly equal lengths d1 and d2 are inserted vertically at a specific interval (a) in the flow direction of fluid and in parallel to each other. Here, the angle beta of the isosceles sides of the columnar body 22 is set to about 60 deg.. Consequently, when vortexes at the time of a low flow rate are visualized, pulsating flow follow-up performance which is highest in the shape of a generated vortex, specially, the mutual interference state between vortexes is obtained. Thus, a Karman vortex flow meter of simple constitution is obtained where Karman vortexes are generated stably against transient variation in the flow velocity of a pulsating flow.
