Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable the obtaining of the sharp recording images of two colors with simple constitution by providing the protruding flight of nonmagnetic material extending in the direction crossing the moving direction of a magnetic powder layer on the peripheral surface of the lower side of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A recording body 1 rotates in the arrow direction and the 1st developing part and the 2nd developing part 12 are provided near the surface. The 1st electrostatic latent images 17 having been formed on the recording body 1 by the 1st exposure has already been developed by two-component developer 7 at the time when they pass the 1st developing part. The 2nd electrostatic latent images 18 having been formed by the 2nd exposure are developed in the 2nd developing part 12. The developing part 12 is constituted by a sleeve 19 of nonmagnetic material, a rotating magnet 29, a hopper 21 and magnetic toners 13. The magnetic toners 13 differ in color from the two-component developer 7 and are moved clockwise on the sleeve 19 by the magnetic force of the magnet 20, whereby visible images are formed. A protruding flight 23 of nonmagnetic material is provided on the lower circumferential surface of the sleeve 19 and causes the mixed two-component developers 7a having no magnetism to dislodge off from the toner layer 22 with the magnetic toners 13 being kept held on the sleeve. These developers are collected in a lower recovery vessel 24.
