Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To use a fallen paint liquid for a long period while maintaining the quality of a coated surface by keeping the required viscosity of the paint liquid during coating by a specific method in the process using the fallen paint liquid repeatedly in the coating process. CONSTITUTION:The glass tube 6 of a fluorescent lamp is coated with fluorescent paint by a phosphor coating device 4 and is dried in a drying chamber 10. During this process, the remainder of the coated paint suspension 1 is dropped on a belt conveyor 9 and is recovered together with the liquid 1 and is again used for coating. The temperature of the chamber 10 is made 40-60 deg.C and hot air of 30-60 deg.C is blown to the falling liquid, thereby the moisture contained in the falling liquid is properly evaporated, and the liquid 1 keeps the required viscosity for a long time. As an example to reuse this fallen paint liquid, in case of a phosphor suspension using polyethylene oxide, the period in which the falling liquid can be used becomes twice as long as that in other methods.
