COMPOSITE G4 FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To efficiently fulfill the center access function by providing a G4 facsimile equipment with an interface circuit to a personal computer or the like and a document switching control part. CONSTITUTION:A G4 facsimile equipment 5 is provided with the interface circuit to a data processor like a personal computer 6 and a switching control part between a character medium channel 7 and a facsimile medium channel 8 and is connected to a center 3 through a logical channel separating part 9 of the same physical line. Consequently, the personal computer 6 and the center 3 freely communicate with each other by using the communication control part of the equipment 5, and input/output processings are performed in each of the personal computer and the facsimile in accordance with information attributes without increasing the number of lines, thus efficiently fulfilling the center access function.
