Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To eliminate the dispersion of photosensitive body performance by using a specific aluminum phthalocyanine deriv. as an electric charge generating agent for a separated-function type photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum phthalocyanine deriv. satisfying the following characteristics is used as the electric charge generating agent of the photosensitive body formed by laminating an electric charge generating layer and charge transfer layer: The deriv. having (a) 60+ or -0.5% weight decreasing rate at 140-220 deg.C when heated up at 5 deg.C per minute by a heat balance, (b) strong diffraction peaks at 6.7, 11.2, 16.7 and 25.6 deg. of 2theta+ or -0.2 deg. in X-ray diffraction spectra, and (c) max. absorption at 750-850nm in visible absorption spectra is used. The more preferable deriv. mentioned above is exemplified by AlC32N8 H(17-X)ClX (where X=1.0-3.0).
