FOUNDATION PILE FOR RELIEVING NEGATIVE FRICTIONAL FORCE

PURPOSE:To relieve negative frictional force of a foundation pile by a method wherein a slip layer of a visco-elastic substance is formed on the periphery of a pile, and a woven fabric covering material, e.g., Vinylon cloth, etc., impregnated with polyurethane resin is covered on the surface of the pile. CONSTITUTION:A slip layer 2 of a visco-elastic substance is formed on the periphery of a foundation pile 1 of steel tube, H-steel, I-steel, or concrete. A woven fabric covering material 3, e.g., Vinylon, glass, tetron, nylon, or jute cloth or mat, impregnated with polyurethane resin is spirally covered as a protective layer on the surface of the layer 2 by strongly bonding the upper layer with the lower layer of polyurethane resin of the material 3. The characteristic features at the time of production, outdoor storage, and driving-in can thus be effectively exhibited.
