Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistant stability of magnetic metallic powder during surface working by using a nonaq. soln. and solvent as a working fluid for surface working of the coated film of a magnetic recording medium and executing the working in an inert gaseous atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The replacement of the air around the magnetic recording medium for which the magnetic metallic powder is used with an inert gas to prevent the contact of the coated film with oxygen is extremely effective for the corrosion resistant stability of the magnetic metallic powder at the time of the surface working of the coated film. On the other hand, water molecules have a large electric polarity which plays the role of assisting the oxidation of material. The use of the nonaq. soln. or nonaq. solvent as the working liquid and cleaning liquid is extremely effective for the corrosion resistant stability of the coated film. The corrosion resistant stability is remarkably improved by using the nonaq. working fluid and executing the surface working of the coated film in the inert gaseous atmosphere in the above-mentioned manner. |
