Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To attain a trouble-free operation by storing a transaction mode, a transmission state and a printing state in a storage device whose battery is backed up, reading and printing stored contents when the storage device is re-entered after a power source was cut and updating a hard total. CONSTITUTION:After transactions are handled, a total key on a keyboard 2 in a POS terminal equipment 1 is depressed to cause a processor 4 to start printing said transactions and transmit them. A printing control part 9 controls a printer 10, and a circuit control part 8 operates a center device 11 to transmit data on the transactions. Then the processor 4 checks whether the transmission proves successful or not. If it turns out to be failure due to the faults of a transmission circuit 13 and a terminal equipment 12, the control part 9 and the printer 10 update the hard total. If it is successful, the operation is ready for a next transaction. Even if the equipment is re-entered after its power source was cut, processing can continue.
