Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a gypsum having low attached water content, by adding a specific surfactant to a water-gypsum slurry and filtering the slurry with a vacuum filter. CONSTITUTION:A nonionic surfactant is added to a water-gypsum slurry before filtering the slurry with a vacuum filter. The nonionic surfactant is preferably polyethylene nonylphenyl ether or polyoxyalkyl allyl ether. The amount of the nonionic surfactant is preferably 50-1,000ppm based on the gypsum in the water-gypsum slurry.
