Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To inexpensively form a coordinate detecting device, by detecting the peak value and the polarity of the output signal of each conductor, and finding a coordinate based on those value and polarity. CONSTITUTION:One conductor group is constituted by arranging two conductors 1 and 2 in the same pitches, and shifting with each other in a meandering shape. And another conductor group is constituted by overlapping two conductors on the above conductor group, arranging in the same pitches but different from the previous conductors 3 and 4, and shifting with each other in the meandering shape. Next, when the base of a coordinate axis is constituted by the two conductor groups is such way, and an electromagnet device is placed on the base, the peak value, and its polarity of the signal outputted from each conductor in the coordinate detecting device of the electromagnet device is detected by a detection circuit 32, based on the signal outputted from each conductor in each conductor group. And the peak value, and the polarity of the signal outputted from each conductor are taken out respectively at the detection circuit 32, and those data are inputted to a processor 34.
