AUTOMATIC STEERING DEVICE FOR SHIP

PURPOSE:To instantly judge the need of, and carry out, an emergency operation and increase safety by providing an independent rudder control aggregate alarm circuit and a rudder control aggregate alarm lamp and always indicating the existence of an alarm on rudder control loop independently. CONSTITUTION:Rudder control system alarm point condition signals 11 from a rudder control loop consisting of a rudder serbo amplifier 2 and a power unit 60, etc. are a kind of alarm point condition signals 10, and these signals are also fed to a rudder control aggregate alarm circuit 3 besides a microcomputer 1. This rudder control aggregate alarm circuit 3 independently monitors each signal of the rudder control system alarm point condition signals 11 irrespective of the microcomputer 1 and, if any one of these signals becomes abnormal, it turns on, or on and off, a rudder control aggregate alarm lamp 50 to notify of the occurrence of abnormality in the rudder control loop.
