Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the heat exchanging performance of a cooler and decrease a pressure loss by a method wherein a pipe diameter of at least one of a flowing-in part and a flowing-out part of fluid at a barrel side of a barrel is made larger than that of another barrel. CONSTITUTION:A pipe fluid 12 flows from a pipe inlet nozzle 10 to a pipe head 9, flows through a plurality of thermal conducting pipes 6 and then flows out of a pipe outlet nozzle 11 of the pipe head 9. In turn, the fluid 3 at the barrel enters a barrel 1 at the barrel inlet nozzle 4, divided by a flow diving member 13 within a large diameter flowing-in part 2, a part of it flows between the barrel 1 and the group of thermal conducting pipes 6. A part of it flows through space 20 in a direction perpendicular to the thermal conducting pipes 6 and flows along the thermal conducting pipes 6 into the main body of the barrel 1. Since the flowing-in part 2 of the barrel 1 has a larger pipe diameter than that of another part of the barrel 1 where the group of thermal conducting pipes 6 are closely arranged and has the space 20, the fluid 3 at the barrel shows a remarkable low flow speed than that within the barrel inlet nozzle 4. Since fluid resistance is low, the fluid may easily flow through the space 20 to an opposite side of the barrel inlet nozzle 4.
