APPARATUS FOR APPLYING ADHESIVE TO WINDOW CLASS

PURPOSE:To enhance robot operating efficiency and to shorten a cycle, by a method wherein a primer coating rotary table and an adhesive coating rotary table rotating in synchronous relation to a multi-shaft robot are arranged so as to hold the multi-shaft robot therebetween, and a mount stand and a transfer machine are further added to constitute an on-line system. CONSTITUTION:During a time when a series of coating works are performed with respect to one window glass W, new window glasses are successively fed-in at a predeteremined time interval from a dam adhering table 56 and a robot 21 takes tools alternately to apply primer coating and urethane coating to window glasses W on a first rotary table 27 and a second rotary table 28 alternately. At this time, by operating the robot 21 in synchronous relation to the rotary tables 27, 28, a small-sized robot can be used and, by combining U-shaped layout of each apparatus containing mount stands 52, 53 with transfer machines 57-59 capable of being fed air-borne, efficient work is performed in a small installation area.
