Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To increase the mechanical strength of a work and to improve the weld quality by setting the welding starting position between each layer of the multi-layer welding by deviating by the prescribed distance between each layer. CONSTITUTION:The length L of a layer 32 of an upper stage is set short than the length M of a layer 31 of a lower stage between weld layers 30 and the edges of the weld layers 30 are formed in a step-shape. By this method, when the edges of the weld layers 30 are set in the step-shape, molten metal of the weld layer edges after the first layer 31 is prevented from dropping. Then, weld defects taking place at the time of joining welding at respective corner parts 5c, 5d, 5h and 5i (circular arc parts) which is performed at the subsequent each stage are prevented and the weld quality is improved.
