Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To secure the soundness of a joint and eliminate clevis accelerating stress corrosion cracking factor by performing butt welding for a joint between an end plug and a spring housing and providing a through hole in said end plug in the end lowered from the welding part. CONSTITUTION:An end plug 15 is monolithic construction having a projecting pipe in the side of a spring housing 14, and a drain hole 16 is provided in the water bottom part in the end plug. Butt welding 18 is performed for the end plug and the spring housing 15, and reactor water in the spring housing 14 is flowed out from the drain hole 16 of the part lowered from the butt welding 18. Therefore, the welding part of the end plug 15 and the spring housing 14 has no clearance, fillet welding on the neighborhood of the joint can be eliminated and clevis stress corrosion cracking factor can be removed.
