Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To lower applied voltage and to improve the safety and workability, by heating the joint part of ceramics interposing an electrically conductive adhesive or an adhesive exhibiting electrical conductivity at high temperature while applying electrical voltage between electrode made to contact with both sides of the joining part. CONSTITUTION:Ceramics 1a and 1b are butted each other interposing an adhe sive 2 exhibiting electrical conductivity at high temperature. A heat source for heating, e.g. a pair of torch tubes 5a and 5b are opposedly placed in manner so as to separate the tip ends of the tubes about 10mm from the joint part. The joint part is heated with combustible gas flame blasted from the torch tubes. At the same time, easily slidable tip ends of rod-shaped electrodes 6a, 6b connected to a power source 3 and inserted into the torch tubes are made to contact with both sides of the joint part and an electrical voltage is applied between the electrodes 6a and 6b. The adhesive 2 is electrified by this process, heated at a high temperature by the Joule heat and melted in a short time to effect firm bonding of the ceramics 1a, 1b. |
